This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. For the language selection, only your browser's local storage (localStorage) is used. It stores only the selected language code. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
4. Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, we store your details in order to process your inquiry and in case of follow‑up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for inquiries relating to the initiation of a contract. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention periods apply.
5. External Links and Subdomains
This website links to its own subdomains as well as to third‑party offerings. Responsibility for data processing on linked third‑party pages lies solely with their respective operators. On the subdomain universum.laital.de videos are embedded via YouTube. Playing these videos transmits data to Google Ireland Limited; Google's privacy policy applies.
6. "Urlaubsplaner" App
The app does not use its own backend or any account. All content (trips, ideas, travel folders, family members) is stored and synchronized exclusively in the iCloud of the respective Apple ID via CloudKit; sharing within the family also runs through CloudKit. As the provider, we have no access to this data, as it never reaches any server operated by us. No analytics SDK, advertising identifier, or third‑party trackers are used. Apple's privacy policy applies to the iCloud transfer.
7. "Zeugnisbox" App
The app does not use its own backend or any account. All content (people, subjects, grades, report cards, and attachments) is stored and synchronized exclusively in the iCloud of the respective Apple ID via CloudKit; keeping a Zeugnisbox together with others also runs through CloudKit. As the provider, we have no access to this data, as it never reaches any server operated by us. This expressly includes the grades of minors. No analytics SDK, advertising identifier, or third‑party trackers are used. The "Zeugnisbox Pro" in‑app purchase is handled entirely by Apple; we receive no payment data. Apple's privacy policy applies to the iCloud transfer.
8. "LAITAL · Shadow of Terra" App
The campaign, skirmish mode, and encyclopedia work entirely offline, without any data being transmitted to us. For the optional online multiplayer mode, the app establishes a connection to our game server; this processes technically necessary connection data (including the IP address) solely for the duration of matchmaking and the ongoing match, in order to match players and synchronize gameplay. This data is not stored beyond the end of the match; there is no account, no save‑game server, and no tracking. No analytics SDK, advertising identifier, or third‑party trackers are used.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may object, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
